Footloose Terms and Conditions:
1. The person making the booking (‘Lead Booker’) confirms they have the authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all attendees in their party. By completing the booking, the Lead Booker accepts responsibility for ensuring all attendees are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and responsibility associated with participating in the tour, whether before, during, or after the event. By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder agrees that Footloose Silent Disco, its staff, and all respective agents, officers, directors, and employees are released from any claims arising from participation.
3. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of Footloose Silent Disco.
4. Please check your tickets carefully at the time of purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
5. Occasionally, tours may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. If a tour is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund or rescheduling. If a tour is rescheduled, we will provide updated details, and refunds will be at the discretion of the event organisers. On rare occasions, a tour may be cancelled if the minimum ticket threshold is not met, in which case a full refund will be issued.
6. The event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or participation. We also reserve the right to remove any attendee who behaves in a manner that disrupts the experience for others, without refund.
7. As this is a walking event, we regret that we cannot delay the tour for latecomers. Please arrive at the meeting point (Queen Victoria Statue, Victoria Gardens) at least 5 minutes before the start time. We will wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the event begins, but after this, we cannot guarantee admission, and no refunds will be issued.
8. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged after purchase unless the event is cancelled by the organiser. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying us in advance.
9. The event organisers reserve the right to alter or vary the planned route, playlist, or structure of the tour due to circumstances beyond our control, without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
10. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the event organiser or an authorised ticketing partner, it may become void, and the holder may be refused entry or participation.
11. Footloose Silent Disco accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury to personal property or persons during the tour. Participants take part at their own risk.
12. Tours take place in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately. In the event of extreme weather conditions that pose a safety risk, we will notify you of any changes or cancellations.
13. This is a dynamic, moving silent disco experience. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that wearing headphones will reduce your ability to hear surrounding sounds, including traffic and pedestrians. The headphones are equipped with a volume switch to adjust sound levels for safety and enjoyment. You accept full responsibility for your own safety during the tour, and Footloose Silent Disco holds no liability for any incidents resulting from this.
14. Filming and photography may take place during the tour for promotional use on social media and other marketing channels. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to being filmed or photographed. If you do not wish to be included, please inform the host at the start of the tour, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
15. The main ticket holder should provide a contact phone number at the time of booking in case of any last-minute updates.
16. The tour does not finish at the starting point. The ending location will be confirmed at the beginning of the event.
17. Deposits and final balance (private groups)
For private group bookings confirmed more than 8 weeks before the event, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the event. If the final balance is not received by the due date, Footloose Silent Disco may cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
18. Minimum group size & minimum charge (private groups)
Private group bookings are subject to a minimum group size of 15 people. A minimum charge equivalent to 15 participants at the prevailing per-person rate applies. If your confirmed numbers fall below 15 at any time, the minimum charge still applies and no partial refunds will be given.
19. Changes to group size (private groups)
Final numbers must be confirmed when the balance is paid. Additional participants can be added (subject to availability) and will be charged at the standard per-person rate, payable before the event. Reductions after the final balance has been paid are non-refundable. No-shows on the day are non-refundable.
20. Cancellations by the customer (private groups)
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancel more than 8 weeks before the event: no further payment is required beyond the retained deposit.
Cancel within 8 weeks of the event: the full balance remains payable (including the minimum charge in clause 18).
Where possible, we will try to transfer your booking to an alternative date at our discretion and subject to availability. Any price difference and reasonable admin costs may apply.
